Lake County is one of the best places in California to visit during summer for several reasons. First, it has great weather that makes people want to spend some time outdoors. The weather is perfect. You’ll have access to plenty of activities, whether you’re looking for hiking in one direction or another near our famous lakeshore park with its great views and welcoming breezes not to mention beautiful flowers all season long (we don’t call them “seasonal” here). There are also concerts happening daily on the weekends at the Auditorium which has helped make it an iconic landmark around these parts; they say if jazz isn’t playing inside…you can always go outside where there’s music waiting just behind those doors anyway because who doesn’t like getting fresh air while listening to live music (especially when it’s bluegrass).

You might not think of going to the beach as a summer activity but Lake County is just next door and you can have all that fun without leaving your own backyard. It’s easy enough to take a quick drive down any one of our beautiful beaches, especially if you want something more secluded.
